여러 형체가 서로 섞여 있는 Dali의 이 그림을 처음 보는 순간 느껴지는 것은 무엇이 무엇인지 분간하기가 힘든 복잡함 그 자체이나, 잠시 후 시간이 조용히 흐른 다음 각각의 형체가 하나씩 명확히 눈에 들어오게 된다. 그 후 이 복잡한 그림은 마침내 전체가 하나로 파악되어 진다. 관객의 입장에서 이 과정을 거칠 때의 눈과 머리와 마음의 상태를 소리를 빌어 지행 순서에 따라 표현한 작품이다.

This painting by Dali may be viewed as a mass of complexity at first sight, making it hard to distinguish one element from another. However, after some moments of deliberate observation, each individual element clearly comes into view and the entire painting gains a unique identity.
