This piece was comissioned by Japan Modern Music Festival in 1984. Two contrasting elements are divided to each guitar and the piece develops through various situarions created by them. The first guitar organized horizontally carries the negative side of the elements, while the second one organized vertically contains the positive side of them. These two elements collide each other, producing new situations every time. The texture of the work is rather improvisatory and depends much on performers insight.
